Your first weeks

Day by day, for Experience Guides. What to do on the floor, what to open here, and what to talk through with your trainer.

How a training shift works

  • On the floor with your trainer. Watching first, then doing, then leading.
  • Site time here, at the times your trainer gives you. Each day lists what to open.
  • A touchpoint with your trainer, and a few journal questions you answer on the day’s page.

On an opening shift you open the space with your trainer first. From 9:00, when the floor allows, you step away for site time.

After your training shifts

You work Experience Guide shifts with your trainer close by. You lead; she is there. Keep Reference, How we do it and Day to day open for anything you need to check. At the end, you and your manager sit down to decide together whether you are ready to work on your own.

A massage therapist’s first weeks look different. That plan is still being written; your trainer has it in the meantime.
