The shape

ARRIVE — static touch, several deep breaths, silence. Let her land before you begin.

WORK — the service itself. Re-drape as you move; warmth is part of the experience.

CLOSE — deep breaths with gentle compressive movements. Re-drape fully. The chime.

FOLLOW UP — the Recommendation Form. Water. Say something specific.

What it is

A 90-minute Ayurvedic-inspired ritual — lymphatic massage, dry brushing with a Cecily Braden brush, warm UMA botanical oils, breathwork and aromatherapy.

The guest is gifted the brush, with home-care guidance.

⚠ Its protocol references 'key reflex points as provided by Monica' — the reflexology content is not in the document.

Family: SPECIALTY.

The longest and most layered service. The only one with breathwork inside it, and the only one where she leaves with a tool.

What it feels like

More ritual than treatment. Five distinct stages rather than one continuous hour.

Protocol

Dry Brushing Protocol — Step By Step

Performed on dry skin before oil application. Follow this sequence precisely — the order mirrors the anatomy of the lymphatic system, always working toward open nodes before brushing fluid toward them.

Step 1 Opening Ritual • 5 min

Invite the guest to lie supine. Allow a moment of silence before you begin.

Lead 3–5 rounds of guided deep breathwork to settle the nervous system.

Present both UMA Aromatherapy Oils — Calm and Energy — for the guest to choose. Invite slow inhalation of each before they decide.

Perform a light energy connection hold: scalp, third-eye point, shoulders. Let the guest fully arrive.

Step 2 Dry Brushing — Cecily Braden Lymphatic Brush • 10 min

Before brushing, briefly explain dry brushing to the guest — what the brush was designed for, and what they will feel. This builds trust and context.

Follow the Cecily Braden protocol above: collar bones first, then armpit activation, arm sweep, abdomen, torso, inner thighs, and full leg sequence.

Pressure should be firm enough to move the skin — not so firm it causes redness. The lymph vessels are superficial.

Step 3 Lymphatic Massage — Front Body • 35 min

Apply warmed UMA Ayurvedic Botanical Body Oil with intention. Begin with slow effleurage to distribute.

Face & Neck (10 min): Jawline drainage, temple sweeps, cervical lymph node work.

Arms & Décolleté (10 min): Long strokes from hands to axilla, following lymphatic channels.

Abdomen (5 min): Clockwise circles and sweeping strokes following the colon pathway.

Legs — Front (10 min): Continuous strokes from feet up to thighs, finishing at the groin nodes.

Step 4 Lymphatic Massage — Back Body • 30 min

Ask the guest to slowly turn prone. Reapply warm UMA oil as needed.

Back (15 min): Sweeping and pumping strokes from sacrum to shoulders. Hold at the sacrum to ground before and after.

Back of Legs (10 min): Heels to knees, then knees toward the lymph nodes. Long, fluid strokes.

Foot Reflexology (5 min): Key reflex points as provided by Monica. Slow and grounding — do not rush this close.

Step 5 Closing Ritual • 5–10 min

Rest a gentle hold at the sacrum or over the heart. Allow silence to complete the treatment.

Final breathwork: guide 3 slow breaths with the guest's chosen UMA Aromatherapy Oil nearby.

Invite the guest to rest silently for a few moments. Let them know softly when the session is complete.

Therapist reminders

Maintain a rhythmic, intentional flow throughout. Stillness and silence are tools — use them.

This is both a physical and energetic treatment. Transitions between steps should feel seamless, not mechanical.

Adjust pressure at every stage based on the guest's comfort. With the lymphatic system, lighter pressure is often more effective than deeper pressure.

Warm the UMA oil before the session begins. Temperature is intentional in Ayurveda — warmth opens the channels and invites absorption.

You are working with the lymphatic system. The vessels are superficial. Less pressure, more rhythm.

Do not rush the closing ritual. It anchors the entire experience — energetically and physically.

The Cecily Braden brush is being gifted to the guest. Take 2 minutes after the session to walk them through the basics of their home practice.

Products

Every UMA oil is 100% organic, non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free. No synthetic fragrances, no preservatives, no parabens, no mineral oils. Handcrafted in small batches and bottled at peak potency — what you apply in the treatment room has been grown, harvested, and distilled by the same family for generations.

What is in them

Pomegranate Seed Oil — Rich in punicic acid, a rare omega-5 fatty acid; deeply regenerative, supports cell renewal and skin elasticity

Moringa Oil — Packed with oleic acid and antioxidants; detoxifying and anti-inflammatory; historically prized in Ayurveda as a healing oil

Jojoba Seed Oil — Structurally similar to the skin's own sebum; absorbs easily without clogging pores; a perfect lymphatic massage carrier

Grape Seed Oil — Lightweight and high in linoleic acid; supports skin barrier function; leaves skin silky without greasiness

Frankincense (Boswellia) — A cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicine; known to reduce inflammation, support cellular turnover, and deepen the meditative quality of touch

Neroli (Citrus Blossom) — Promotes collagen synthesis; deeply calming to the nervous system; lends a delicate, luxurious scent

Rose Flower Oil — Anti-inflammatory and emotionally balancing; one of the most precious botanical ingredients in Ayurvedic ritual

Juniper Berry — A natural detoxifier; supports lymphatic flow and helps the body release retained fluid

Grapefruit — Uplifting and clarifying; stimulates circulation and adds a bright top note to the oil's aroma profile

Roman Chamomile — One of the most gentle and effective anxiolytics in the botanical world; calms the nervous system and eases tension in the body

Lavender — The gold standard of relaxation; reduces cortisol, supports sleep, and creates a sense of deep safety

Clary Sage — Hormone-balancing and euphoric; deepens breath and supports emotional release — particularly powerful in bodywork

Vetiver — Deeply grounding and earthy; used in Ayurveda to anchor scattered energy and reconnect the guest to the present moment

Jasmine — Softly uplifting and heart-opening; counters anxiety without stimulation; adds a sacred, floral depth

Geranium — Balancing and harmonizing; supports the parasympathetic response and eases emotional turbulence

Jojoba + Evening Primrose (base) — Rich, nourishing carriers that allow safe skin application and prolong absorption of the essential oil blend

Peppermint — Stimulates circulation and mental clarity; activates sensory receptors that produce a cooling, awakening effect instantly

Rosemary — Improves focus and memory; in Ayurveda, it is used to stimulate prana (life force) and encourage movement of stagnant energy

Patented Bristle Pattern — A unique density and configuration that grips the skin precisely to target superficial lymph vessels — impossible to replicate with standard bristle brushes

Vegan PBT Synthetic Bristles — FDA/USDA-approved thermoplastic — durable, moisture-resistant, and engineered to match the feel and firmness of high-quality natural fiber without any animal products

Ergonomic Contoured Shape — Designed for accurate alignment with lymph node pathways; the shape ensures the brush sits correctly on curved body surfaces without the therapist having to compensate with pressure

Two-Brush System (Small & Large) — The Small Brush has longer, softer bristles for the delicate skin of the face and neck. The Large Brush carries firmer density for the body. Though they look similar, the bristle profiles are intentionally different

Mimics Lymph Vessel Contractions — The specialized technique paired with this brush replicates the passive rhythm of lymphatic contractions — it doesn't just move fluid mechanically, it signals the vessels to respond

Professional Grade, Guest-Ready — Cecily offers professional training courses for therapists. The same brush gifted to guests post-treatment carries her self-care technique — creating continuity of care beyond the session
