The shape

ARRIVE — static touch, several deep breaths, silence. Let her land before you begin.

WORK — the service itself. Re-drape as you move; warmth is part of the experience.

CLOSE — deep breaths with gentle compressive movements. Re-drape fully. The chime.

FOLLOW UP — the Recommendation Form. Water. Say something specific.

What it is

Hydrating massage using OSEA Undaria oil head to toe, with a body polish on the lower legs and feet.

The menu frames it as a cold-weather ritual.

⚠ Menu and training sheet name different OSEA products for the polish step.

Family: RELAXING.

The only massage with an exfoliation step. Against everything else: her skin is worked on, not only her muscles.

What it feels like

Closer to a body treatment than a massage. The legs-and-feet section is what people talk about afterwards.

Protocol

Step 1 Opening Ritual

Invite the guest to arrive with several deep breaths. Apply static touch to the shoulders.

Step 2 Full Body Massage — OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil

Apply OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil with intention. Work in long, fluid strokes across the full body.

The oil's lightweight texture allows sustained effleurage without reapplication — allow it to absorb as you work.

This massage phase delivers antioxidant hydration to every area of the body before the targeted scrub phase.

Step 3 Sea Mineral Scrub — Legs & Feet

Apply OSEA Salts of the Earth Scrub to both legs and feet in circular exfoliating movements.

Work from the foot upward toward the knee, following the direction of lymphatic flow.

Spend additional time on areas of notable dryness — heels, ankles, shins.

Step 4 Warm Towel Wrap

Wrap both legs and feet in warm towels immediately after the scrub to allow mineral absorption and deepen the hydrating effect.

While legs are wrapped, apply gentle compressions and massage to the feet and lower legs to stimulate circulation and ease any remaining fatigue.

Step 5 Closing Ritual

Undrape legs. Guide the guest through several deep breaths.

Conclude with the energy-balancing chime.

Step 6 Guest Follow-Up

Complete Recommendation Form and offer water.

Recommend OSEA products for continued home care — the Undaria Algae Body Oil and Salts of the Earth Scrub are available for purchase.

Encourage a weekly at-home scrub routine, especially on legs and feet.

Therapist reminders

The scrub phase should feel like a ritual, not a hurried add-on — move slowly and with intention on the legs and feet.

Warm the towels before the scrub phase so they're ready to wrap immediately after exfoliation.

The mineral absorption through the warm towel wrap is what makes this service stand apart from a basic scrub. Don't skip it.

OSEA products are a natural retail opportunity — guests who feel the results in session are highly motivated to continue at home.

The massage phase should cover the full body thoroughly before transitioning to the scrub. Don't abbreviate it.

Products

OSEA Undaria Algae Body Oil

OSEA's #1 bestselling product — a clinically proven, seaweed-infused body oil that instantly improves the appearance of skin elasticity and delivers deep, antioxidant-rich hydration. Lightweight and non-greasy, it absorbs quickly and leaves a luminous, healthy glow on the skin that lasts well beyond the session.

OSEA Salts of the Earth Body Scrub

A multi-salt, marine-mineral exfoliating scrub that buffs away dry skin while delivering deep hydration. Applied to the legs and feet — the areas most prone to dryness and fatigue — the scrub lifts dead skin cells and allows the body oil's actives to penetrate more deeply after the exfoliation phase. The lavender scent is calming and grounding.

What is in them

Undaria Pinnatifida (Pacific Seaweed) — Hand-harvested Pacific algae — the hero ingredient. Rich in amino acids, antioxidants, vitamins, and ocean minerals that replenish the skin's moisture barrier and improve elasticity

White Lupin Extract — Clinically shown to firm the skin, visibly contour, and improve elasticity — promotes a more youthful appearance of skin texture and tone

Passion Fruit Seed Oil — Rich in vitamin C and essential fatty acids; brightening and deeply moisturizing; helps restore skin radiance

Açai Pulp Oil — A superfood oil packed with omega fatty acids and antioxidants; protects skin from environmental damage and improves overall skin health

Babassu Seed Oil — A lightweight tropical oil that melts into skin without greasiness; delivers long-lasting moisture without disrupting pore function

Rice Bran Oil — Rich in vitamin E, ferulic acid, and squalene; naturally anti-aging; smooths skin texture and protects from oxidative stress

Sunflower Seed Oil — High in linoleic acid, which helps maintain the skin's lipid barrier — essential for lasting post-session hydration

Dead Sea Salt — Mineral-rich and finely milled — gently exfoliates while delivering magnesium, calcium, and potassium directly to the skin; improves barrier function and reduces water loss

Bolivian Rose Salt & Himalayan Pink Salt — Multi-salt blend that provides varying levels of exfoliation texture; each salt carries a unique mineral profile for comprehensive skin nourishment

Shea Butter — Deeply conditioning; prevents the scrub from over-drying the skin during exfoliation; leaves a protective moisture layer on freshly buffed skin

Sea Clay (Kaolinite) — Draws out impurities from the pores while the salts exfoliate the surface — a gentle detoxifying action in the scrub phase

Gigartina Seaweed Extract — An OSEA signature ingredient — marine algae rich in carrageenan, which hydrates and plumps the skin at a cellular level

Avocado Oil — Rich in oleic acid and vitamins A, D, and E; deeply nourishing after exfoliation to prevent transepidermal water loss

Lavender Oil — Calming and anti-inflammatory; reduces any surface sensitivity from the exfoliation; creates the signature soothing scent of this scrub

Rosemary Leaf Extract — Antioxidant and circulatory stimulant; supports skin oxygenation post-exfoliation

What we say about it

“OSEA has been a clean beauty pioneer since 1996 — they were one of the first brands to build an entire line around seaweed before it was a trend.”

“The seaweed in this oil is hand-harvested from the Pacific — it's one of the most nutrient-dense marine ingredients in skincare, and your skin absorbs it directly during the massage.”

“The scrub we're using on your legs and feet contains Dead Sea salt and Himalayan pink salt — two of the most mineral-rich salts on earth. It's exfoliating and hydrating at the same time.”

“The warm towel wrap after the scrub helps the minerals and oils absorb — it's the same principle as a steam room for your skin.”

“Everything in the OSEA line is vegan, cruelty-free, and free of synthetic fragrances — what you're smelling is real botanicals.”
