The twelve, and what each one is

THE PALOMA — Swedish. The starting point, and the one to reach for when she cannot name what she wants.

THE POWER — deep tissue.

THE HIGHER REALM — CBD. One service with a pressure choice: Swedish or Deep Pressure.

THE MERIDIAN RITUAL — cupping.

THE GROUNDING STONE — hot salt stones with warm oil.

THE HIMALAYAN — salt stone.

THE REFORMER — therapeutic.

THE MONSOON — moisture drench. 90 minutes only.

THE MOTHER — pre and post natal.

CLEAR THE PATH — myofascial release. The only one offered at 120 minutes, and the dearest thing on the table.

UMA DETOXIFYING AYURVEDIC BODY RITUAL — Ayurvedic, 90 minutes only.

THE HEALER — 30 minutes on one area she chooses: head and neck, legs and feet, or shoulders and back.

Each of these has its own entry on this shelf. This is the list to scan when you need the name and nothing else.

What you can say, and where you stop

You can name all twelve, say what modality each is, say how long each runs and what it costs, and say which are 90-minute-only.

"If you're not sure, The Paloma is where most people start" is true and takes the decision off her.

You stop at what any of them will do for a body. Pressure preference, an injury, a pregnancy, a recent procedure — all of that goes to the therapist.

⚠ THE PALOMA, THE MONSOON and THE HEALER are each also the name of something that is not a massage. If she gives you only a name, ask which room.

What each one is for

Awaiting validation

Which massage suits which body, and what any of them relieves, has not been approved for you to say. Name the modality, name the length, and let the therapist match it to her.

Who each is not for

Awaiting validation

Pregnancy, injury, surgery, skin conditions, medication — every one of these goes to the therapist at intake rather than being answered at the desk.
